Legal gambling market is a source of additional funds for the state budget

This year marks the fifth anniversary of the return of the gambling business to the legal field. In 2020, only a few experts predicted the rapid growth of the white segment of gambling and an exponential increase in state budget revenues from gambling tax revenues and license fees by gambling companies.

Despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, which significantly suppressed the economic development of Ukraine in general and the gambling market in particular, the domestic gambling industry has adapted to the new conditions and continues to grow gradually, albeit somewhat slower than it could have been.
