The ban on gambling advertising destroyed the development of legal gambling

Soon, the domestic legal gambling market will ‘celebrate’ the anniversary of the government's decision to almost completely ban gambling advertising in Ukraine. The adoption of amendments to the CMU Resolution No. 566 of 17 May 2024 ‘Some issues of counteracting the negative consequences of gambling on the Internet’ not only outlawed virtually any advertising of gambling and betting companies, but also limited the ability of athletes to use sponsors' symbols at public events.
